Feeling down

Anyone feeling that it's hard to get into the Christmas spirit this year?

Between the economy and layoffs and young couples like us working so hard to get ahead, I just feel like it puts a damper on happiness. I try not to let it though.

Just had to vent.

yeah you aren't the only one feeling that way! especially with planning a wedding and how expensive the wedding world is out there now a days, i am just in no mood to spend any money on gifts! i'd rather save it towards our wedding, as selfish as that might sound =/ hehe.. i already told my friends and family that this year i am going to be very cheap and only buy for the little ones and that is all, cause we have a wedding to pay for and they understand! but i have not even started my xmas shopping for the very few that i will be buying for this year, i have just not hit the xmas spirit yet and the mood to hit the stores and those crazy lines.. ahh, and there is only like 2 weeks left till xmas =[ cant believe how fast it is going!

PS: and with this poor economy forget it, it sure doesn't help us out.. so it's normal to feel down over this, you aren't alone! =]

Let's just hope for better things for the New Year and remember the celebration is not about the value of our gifts , just family, friends and lots of eating!! LOL

It's tough but this is the time of year to forget all that and just enjoy what we are given. We are so lucky to be planning beautiful weddings and celebrating with our friends and family of the birth of Jesus Christ! Sorry I'm getting dorky here But sometimes we need to remind ourselves what is good!
