Feeling great!

Feeling great!

I started to add more cardio to my workouts. I usually slack off in this area, because I do weights first, then cardio, and I don't always have the time for both.

So, for a few weeks, I am going to do weights AND cardio, but If I know I don't have time for both, I am going to do just an hour of cardio.

I have NEVER done just cardio, so I am curious how this is going to affect me.

Sorry to babble, but I felt like I needed to write this down to motivate myself!

We are opposites! I usually slack off in the weights area. I love my cardio classes and I get bored doing weights.

I really need to do more strength and weight training.

Snowboardgirl, do you follow a routine? I think that is my problem, is I don't know what to do. In my classes I just follow and work my but off!!!

Yes, I do follow a routine. It goes like this...

Day 1- Chest and tri's
Day 2- Legs
Day 3- Shulders and bi's
Day 4- Back

Abbs and cardio I tack on at the end of each day, more or less depending on the time I have remaining.

Good for you Christine! I need to do the same - I don't really like doing cardio. Even though I don't NEED to do more cardio, it would be good for me to do it anyway to strengthen my heart (exerise is not all about losing weight; I have to remember that! )

HEY ANNIE!

I just feel like I need to add it, or even substitute some of my weight trainning for cardio just to see what happens.

The problem is, that I used to do cardio with my weight trainning, and my body fat got too low (8%). I am going to do it anyway, and when I get to a certain point, I will ease up on it.
