I don't know if it's because of stress form the wedding plans, stress with my family or something else...but ever since I got engaged I have been breaking out really bad. I forgot my makeup at home and feel like I could use a touch up.
Sorry just needed to vent....

Re: Feeling gross
Thats been happening to me too for the last year...Finally my skin is 'kinda' starting to get better. I have been using this oil reducing mask from Mark and it really seems to be helping ALOT. I am still getting all those really small bumps under my skin but they are not red or anything...those big red things that hurt are finally starting to go away a bit!!!

Oh, and also I have stopped wearing face makeup everyday...I only wear it once in a while now, but I noticed that by doing that my skin has gotten a bit better since its been able to breathe a bit more than normal...

Yeah face makeup actually causes more breakouts ... i have really good skin all year but in the winter i dry up and break up my best friend doesnt have very good skin ... i told her to use Pysoderm CQ ... which is what i use in the winter and she LOVES it ... she has tried proactive and a million more things but this worked for her ..

That is a face cleanser or make up. I'm not sure I could go without makeup...I wonder if there's a brand that is good for this?

mineral makeup. your skin will breathe more as opposed to foundation. i found Bare Escentials to be the best. i also still get quite a bit of acne and have very oily skin. it makes it less shiny (powder) and seems to stay on almost all day.

Is there a brand I can get in the store? Or is it just online ordering?

I swear by Bare Escentuals! i used to always use MAC but my skin would always be shiny and oily. But it's actually really matte now with the mineral powder

I think that MAC has the worst foundation probably that I've ever used. It contains a lot of oil. I really like the teint idole ultra foundation by lancome. If my skin is really bad I use the lancome powder make up on top It really covers it up. Bare escentuals is good too but I feel that I always need a liquid base even when I use bare. But sometimes I put the bare escentuals over my liquid foundation and my skin looks flawless.
Also, if you ladies have not discovered arbonne, I would def try it. I have been using it for years and I used to have really bad acne as well...

I have used the mieral makeup by i think maybelline...and I love it just as much if not more than the bare minerals...plus it doesnt cost as much as bare minerals!!!! It is part of a line so you can by the face makeup mineral stuff to match, i use the liquid mineral concealer with the mineral powder foundation and i think it works like a charm...

Bare Escentials has a store in Roosevelt Field or you can get it at Sephora. I've actually seen a starter kit in Target (which I was shocked when I saw it there).
The reason I recommend this brand over others, is that it's not cakey looking, ghostly looking or anything like that. I've bought some cheap ones b/c the BE is a little expensive but nothing really compares. it also gives a 'sheen' which is so natural and glowy looking.
If you really wanted a liquid, I found Stila's tinted moisturizer to be amazing. Not make up looking at all...very sheer and also gives a glow

I've been breaking out really bad too lately...I hate it. Esp. since I never broke out as a teenager.

I think I'm going to try the Maybelline....money is kinda tight and with FH not knowing if he's laid off or not I can't spend too much $$$. I'll let you all know how it works!! Thanks for the suggestions!!
