Need your advice. I had a trial with MIA from Brid*al Lounge back in December for both hair and makeup. I booked her for my wedding this October, but the more i looked at the pics of my hair, the more i didn't like them. I heard about Denise Venti and decided to schedule a hair trial with her. I'm going for my trial on Friday, but I feel bad. Do you think I should have called MIA first and let her know i was unsatisfied and gone for another trial, and then if i didn't like it then, go try Denise? I did like MIA's makeup trial...so if i like denise's hair better do you think i can just ask Mia to switch me to just makeup, even though i currently have her booked for both? I dont know
what do you girls think?

Re: Feeling Guilty
Well you probably should have told Mia that you weren't all the way happy with the hair in the beginning but for now I would just see how your trial goes with the new person before you drive yourself crazy with guilt. Then if you really like this person you can just explain it to Mia. I am sure she deals with brides changing their minds all the time. After all it is your day so you have to be comfortable with your decision.

Re: Feeling Guilty
I did the EXACT same thing, but I HAD and paid for 2 trials with Mia and wasn't thrilled with my hair (I also had a trial with another hairperson...) and then I had a trial with Maria D'Leon and LOVED my hair. I felt bad about it, but I told Mia and she totally understood, and I still used her for my makeup and my entire brial party used her for hair and makeup.

Re: Feeling Guilty
book another trial - let her know whats up and give it another chance. I would still go to the new trial and then make a decision - its your BIG DAY, you want to be happy and feeling beautiful - do whats best for you!!!

Don't feel bad if you drop her...she'll get booked by another bride in a heartbeat...

Re: Feeling Guilty
Definitely go to the trial and make sure you like it better before you cancel with vendor #1. That way you can be sure that someone will do your hair.
If you aren't happy you should definitely switch Remember it's your day and you shouldn't settle for anything you are not 100% crazy about. Good Luck with your trial.
