Feeling Guilty

Feeling Guilty

FH has off on Fridays, so I asked him to drive me to the train station and he did. The he left to do some errands and was in a little fender bender! He's fine, but it took off his driver's sideview mirror and the car is a little scratched/dented. Totally the other guy's fault..he admitted it.

He's at the mechanic getting the mirror replaced and is going to wait until after the honeymoon to get the body fixed.

I feel like it's my fault, because he waited to drive me to the train..and it's another headache/cost we don't need right now!

He said it's not my fault, but I still feel guilty

It's totally not your fault...you can't predict or know when fender bender will happen or be responsible for other peoples driving. For all you know it may have happened whether he took you to the train or not.

I know it's hard not to feel guilty but don't...it's not your fault

Aw don't feel guilty! He could have gotten into an accident at any time, not just because he was driving you. He was being a good FH driving you to the train station. Try to feel better!
