OK besides today being the day from H E L L at work, I just called up Lillettes and they don't carry La Sposa. The only other places listed as having the La Sposa in Nassau/Suffolk are Bridal Suite Patchogue (possibly going out of business) and Princess Bridals Farmingdale (has had some horrid reviews).
I am in LOVE with a gown by them and they don't seem to be carrried much of anywhere on LI. I'm moving to Manorville so the thought of trekking to the city/Queens for alterations is just sickening. OK pity party over

Omg, I'm so sorry! Why don't you try calling some places? They might not be listed to carry it but they might be able to order it for you. It's worth a shot!

I did this with my watters gown(the first gown I ordered, but thats a different story). No salon had it in stock, but most stores told me they could order it for me. good luck!

Or maybe if you need to order it in queens, why don't you order it from them but don't get the alterations done there. Get the alterations done by someone else closer to you.... That way you would only have to make the trip once to go pick up the dress... Just an idea.

Can you go in and at least try it on and try to find it elsewhere?
I was IN LOVE with all these Alvina Valenta dresses and when I tried on every single one, it was 'okay'. I found mine and didn't even know the designer or that particular style because I was looking for a different dress entirely.
Good luck and definitely call around to inquire about ordering it for you (but I would try it on first to make sure it's the one you want!!!).

Thanks - I'm feeling better already. There are a ton of options and I just started panicking! If only I was certain that Bridal Suite patchogue was going to be around until 7/8/06..... damn rumors !!!

Also, did you happen to check the La Sposa website to see where in NY they have locations of their bridal gowns?? Would you be willing to go into Queens or NYC??

Wait, isn't La Sposa now going under the name Pronovias??? Maybe that's why the dealers said no, they don't carry it? Maybe you can call them back and ask?
