off of the guest list. I emailed it to him for updating, so he did just that. I had tried to do that before, but couldn't. It's better off that he did it for me, but it still made me cry.
I mean, I know he's not going to be there, but it's just one of those things that make you feel the enormity of it.

He is with you not just on your wedding day but everyday..and I beleive that the best thing you can do is talk to him like he is still physically here. He'll find a way to answer you!

I'm so sorry I know how you feel. We have to take FH's grandmother off the list as well. But they will be there with us in spirit, and that is what really counts.

I certainly understand. My FH took my Dad's name off our list and thus my mother's invitation is addressed to her alone. It was very hard when we ordered our invites and nowmy mom is the sole host as 'Mrs. Dad's Name'. It was the right thing to do to honor him. I am so sorry you are going through this. We lost Dad a little over 3 months ago and I can't remove the 'Dad' from 'Mom and Dad' from my speed dials on both of my phones. Not a day goes by that I don't cry for him. It is a constant heartache that I wrestle with within myself and with G-d. I am truly looking forward to meeting with the Rabbi soon after the holiday next week so maybe he can shed some light on things. Perhaps you can consult your clergy person to help you.
