Feeling so frustrated and sad....

I'm feeling sooo frustrated lately.....I have been doing everything I can to try to lose weight. I just want 10lbs off.....and it just won't come off! I hit this plateu and can't lose anymore.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've already tried Weight Watchers.

weight watchers has worked for me but you can try by eliminating most of your carbs and limit yourself to oneserving a day. try eating more protein but you must work it out. I do Zumba three times a week and I do weights at home as well. I had to become more strict with my self because I felt like a yo yo. I kept going up and down! I was able to go from 250 lbs to 219 lbs in less than a year! it's totally doable. I plan on losing 50 more lbs. We can do this together!

One thing that I think might help is to cut out all beverage calories and dessert. Only drink a cup of coffee in the morning with skim milk and sweet and low or splenda and then water all day. For breakfast I have a small bowl of Kashi Autumn Harvest cereal (very high in fiber and tastes awesome) with skim milk or a banana. Then for lunch have a salad with grilled chicken and low fat dressing on the side. Dip your bites into the dressing but eat it sparingly. For a snack I love to have some almonds or a bag of the 100 calorie popcorn. For dinner some of the things I like to have are salmon with brown rice, sushi (nothing fried), tuna on whole wheat bread with light mayo or an eggwhite omlette with turkey. Try to be mindful of butter, full-fat cheese and other fatty things when preparing meals and pay attention to portions! It doesnt matter if you are eating healthy if you are eating a ton of it. You wont lose weight that way. You dont have to work out like crazy, but you should do at least a little exercise every day. I have been taking walks at night with my daughter after dinner.

I hope that helps! If you follow what I said above you will definitely lose weight! Good luck! You can do it!

Re: Feeling so frustrated and sad....

I tried WW for a month just to see what the new program was like, but in the end I had no time for logging points etc when working a 12 hour day. Honestly, hubby and I went hardcore (with a cheat here or there). No candy (his downfall) or chips (mine). We stopped eating out which was HUGE for us. We eat out all the time with stomachs to prove it! And smarter portions. I didnt cut out any carbs or what not and it melted off, really. Especially the week before. I lost 30 lbs by the big day! You can do it! You have PLENTY of time.

As an FYI I know cutting/reducing carbs works to lose weight fast, but it really isnt good for your body. Our bodies need a bit of everything so remember moderation is key. Nicer weather is here - get a buddy and walk the boardwalk or neighborhood trail. I know for me exercise was literally not an option most days, but eating right made me feel good.

YOU CAN DO IT!

yes this def. don't cut it out completely just eat less of it (if you havent already!) you can def. do this. no sweets, no sodas, no juices. try the no calorie drinks if you must have something with taste otherwise stick to water. don't get frustrated, you will be fine! working out is very important tho. if you can get in 20 mins of cardio a day, your set!
