Feeling Ultra Stressed

Feeling Ultra Stressed

I don't know why, but I'm feeling ultra stressed today. I'm panicking and all day I've felt that I don't have enough time to get everything done. I have 8 months and one week left and I still have so much to do. Most of the major things are done, but I still need to:

Florist
Invitations
STDs
Makeup
Hair
Registry
Favors
Cake
Jewelry
Wedding Bands
Ceremony Music

Breathe! Arggh! I let work take over the last few months when I should have been planning. Thought I had all the time in the world and now I'm stressing. Just had to vent.

The first thing I think is really good is that you have a list. I love check lists. My advice is write them down in priority order and just do them one thing at a time and check off as you go!

Booba,

You have to work on one thing at a time. if it was me, the next thing on my list would be florist, std's and then mu/hair.

Everything else you still have PLENTY of time for.

My plan was to do florists next, but now I'm seeing my favorite MU and Hair peeps are already booked. Yikes.

You're fine on time. I'm only having a 9 month engagement. I do have my moments where I feel like I won't get everything done on time, but those are just moments! You'll be fine!

We only just booked our florist less than a month ago, and we just booked our honeymoon last weekend.

I only have a week more than you and I haven't done anything on your list, and then some... don't get stressed, you have plenty of time!

Cin,

You have time sweetie! Definitely do florist next, and then make appts. for hair/make up. The rest you can do later.

I was feeling super stressed the other night. I sat down and made a list and decided to do one thing at a time and not to worry or even think about the other things on my list until I got to it. Prioritize and take it one step at a time. It's all very overwhelming when you think about it all in its entirety - everything that needs to get done - just take it one task at a time. YOu can do it!

Thanks girls! I'm feeling a little better today. I'm going to focus on Florist next. You are all so right. I was thinking about everything as a whole and it was too overwhelming. Yikes. I spoke to FH about my anxiety and he got scared and thought I was going to go Bridezilla on him again. Poor guy!

You'll be fine The florist is so much fun, anyways! I went to Borders and got this british magazine with all wedding flowers. It was $10 but it soooo useful. I highly recommend it. It's called 'Wedding Flowers' and has a pik strip across the top and a boK of pink orchids and roses on the front. Just thougt I'd share.

Re: Feeling Ultra Stressed

I actually have a book on flowers which was slightly helpful. I'm just going to go with the dress swatch and the color of the tux and just be open to anything. They are the experts after all and almost every flower looks pretty to me so I just can't decide. hehe
