Re: Feeling under the weather

There are three people in my office with the SAME thing-- that's what happens when the weather changes. Here, I'll explain why:

When the weather is colder at night (in the fall) but yet can still be pretty warm during the day b/c the heat from the sun in strong (tomorrow is supposed to be 80 degrees!) it tends to make people more sick b/c the mucus linings in your nose constrict going from the cold weather to the warm-- meaning, there is less mucus when it's warm than when it is colder-- so going back and fourth with this crazy warm one minute, chilly the next minute weather tends to make people sick b/c those mucus linings are what protects you from getting sick-- germs that enter your body usually get stuck in those linings before they can get into your system and attack your immunities-- so if it is thinner of course, more germs can get in and your system can't fight them off...

So that's the scientific reason why and that explains why so many people all get sick at the same time-- during this time of the year-- or whenever the weather changes.

I really hope you feel better!!

Thanks again girls - I stayed home today to rest. Funny that I'm too sick to go to work and be on the comp, so I stay home and go on the comp. Didn't want to miss anything!

There must be something going around. I was tossing all night b/c I totally did not feel well and today I feel even worse. I am dousing myself with Airborne. I swear...that is the best stuff ever! And it doesn't even taste bad!

Hope you feel better soon!!!!
