feeling very comforted tonight
Lately, I've been feeling really down that my grandparents are not living for my wedding...My Nana gave me a bracelet for my Sweet 16. I try it on every few months, and it has always been too big for me. I had it made smaller, but it was still too big. On July 23rd, this past Friday, the seventh anniversary of her passing, I was looking through my drawers, and I decided to try it on again. It finally fit me. After years of trying it on every few months, and I really don't think I gained weight in my wrists lol!
Anyway, tonight I went to a bar with one of my BMs, and I wasn't going to wear the bracelet because I'm paranoid about losing it. However, I looked at it and said 'Maybe it will bring me some good luck with Quick Draw!' (I usually only play Quick Draw when I'm with my Dad...I don't think I have ever played it alone!)
So I played the numbers: 3 (number the comes in ALL the time in my family and with me and FH) 11, 13 (the wedding date) 10, 8 (the date of my Gramps' birthday), and 9 (the month-September-of my Nan's birthday). I got 5 out of 6 numbers, and it was a 4X winnings round, and I won $220.
I really feel like I got a special hello tonight; I just wanted to share that.
