I went for a hair and makeup trial about a month ago before Bpics.
That day, the makeup woman was supposed to meet me at my salon to do my makeup after I get my hair done.
Makeup woman cancels appointment 1.5 hours before the appointment (it wasn't MlA in case you're wondering) and I need to use someone else b/c I want my makeup done (Bpics you know?). The salon calls in their resident makeup person and it turns out I love the job she did and basically booked her on the spot.
Makeup woman is very apologetic through texts and emails (apparently she had bronchitis and pink eye - eww) and really wants to give me a trial. She's very sweet, but do I give her a shot? I have things coming up where I wouldn't mind getting my makeup done, but I don't know if I should give her the time of day.
Opinions?

Why not...I have a make up trial that I booked for the day of Alyssa's shower/Roz's wedding...meanwhile I had another trial before that and already booked with them.
Doesn't mean I don't wanna look snazzy for that day...so I'm keeping it.

if u dont mind paying for another trial, i dont see why not. but i personally would not cuz 1. im cheap and 2. who the heck finds out they have bronchitis and pink eye 1.5 hours before they have to work? she couldve called u earlier.

if you feel bad enough to give her a chance, then are you going to feel bad about saying you don't want her when you decide you like your other person better...?

Oh one of the girls I did the pics with wore that! It looked really hot!
I wouldn't use her, she's proven to be very unreliable! Like others have said, even if she WAS sick, she obviously knew way before and hour and half before the appointment. I wouldn't give business to someone that unprofessional.
