Fellow elementary teachers- how were your kids today?

I had 1st graders at the end of the day Both classes were COMPLETELY out of control. Not focusing for a second, and once we played a game- fuggedaboutit- screaming out of control!!

Sorry I just needed to vent! I went to their teachers and asked them how their day was. One said she needed a drink.

So that's what we get from the kids on Teacher Appreciation Day!

awwwwwwww i'm sorry they treated you like poo but we appreciate you!! (that kinda rhymed but it wasn't supposed to...i love teachers!) thanks to all the teachers for doing what they do best...INSPIRE children!

Yeah, the kids were off the chain screwed up today!

They drove us all freakin' crazy. SO SO glad the day is OVER!

Ugh, it's only tuesday...

acutally my 1st graders ( i teach h.s. in the morning and elementary in the afternoon) were pretty good.. I think it was the cool project that had them focused.. I am glad the project took off.. but my 3rd graders were off the wall yesterday.. i was diong this at the end of the day

I was in a K class today and they were nuts too! SO loud and not listening at all!

I don't know how you guys deal with 20+ kiddos going crazy..... I bet it's the weather.... it's late spring, and they want OUT....

only another 6 weeks to go!!!!

My kids definitely were crazy today. They would not listen to me, any other teacher or the principal. I spent my entire lunch and prep calling parents!

Sheesh, I am certainly not alone here. Spring Fever is in full force- and I got it too!!! I have serious bride brain so that's doesn't help!

I just want my concert next week to be over with so the stress can be relieved, and then after that time is gonna FLY!!! After Memorial Day....fuggedabout it. June 22 will be here before we know it! (or 27 for you NYC teachers)

Oh duh I messed up - my last day teaching is June 21...22 is teacher's reporting.

I thought NYC was 27th? Am I wrong? Is it a Wednesday?

At least you guys are teachers and not a student teacher like me!!!! I don't even get paid for dealing with these crazy kids! Although, I know you all went though it
I have to say, I do love my students though!
