My male cat humps my blanket and then tries to hump my leg( i put a stop to that pronto) When your dog humps your blanket it could be the scent that she smells.

I think it is just dominance..even when they are playing. My dog humps my leg when I am not paying attention to her and when She wants something I won't give her! Gross! Don't make a big deal of it. They do it for the reaction. THe bigger the reaction the more they will do it. Maybe that is why darma is humping the blanket. To get your attention?

I don't know...my sister's female Jack Russell (Minnie) humps Casey all the time Keep in mind, Minnie is 10 lbs and Casey is 60!
