As long as they are respectful of me and my relationship I do not mind, if not then it is a different story.

Re: Female Friends
MY fh has a few. But hes known them since high school and never dated them.. so i have no problem with them. One of them may even be in my bridal party (shes also sister of one of his best friends). We hang out often. I actually went to grade school with one of them... found that out when we started dating. Small world.

Re: Female Friends
My FH has a few female friends, but they are girls he grew up with! I don't really have a problem with it. He doesn't hang out with them alone or anything - lol. If he hangs out with them, it's usually in a group and I'm with him! But he went to a superbowl party this weekend that I did not attend and they were there. What can I do? They're his friends

Re: Female Friends
why all the rules? don't you trust your men? I have no problem with Al having female friends. I have a bunch of male friends and I would never expect to give those up because I got married.
Why should they lose friends when they have a girlfriend/fiance/wife? I think its important to have balance in your life and that means having friends outside of the relationship. To limit that seems unhealthy.

Re: Female Friends
I don't mind my FH having female friends for the most part. There actually was one girl he did a show with that wanted more then friendship from him. She sent him e-mails that said things that were totally inappropriate and I asked him to not have anything to do with her anymore. As long as they are just friends and respect our relationship I don't mind, but she had no respect for us ( and unfortunatly very little for herself it seemed ).

Re: Female Friends
Frank doesnt have any female friends other than me, and im not sure how i would feel about that either, especially since us being friends is how our reltationship happened, (not that i dont trust him) I have a friend who calls frank and asks him to do things for her, and doesnt really even tell me shes doing it, she also asks him to meet her for drinks , I totaly trust her and i know nothing will happen but that just plain ****es me off that she does this, and shes MY friend. I dont know if i would be ok with him doing this with another girl who was his friend..
(i dont know if i just vented or answered the question! )

I'm not sure how I feel about it. I always had a lot of male friends but I have a double standard .
He doesn't have any so no need to worry

Re: Female Friends
He's got a few...one is his best man... I knew her before knew him so she doesn't bother me...my only rule is that if they talk to him, they have to talk to me, meaning they must call my house and deal w/ me - none of that sneaky stuff.

Re: Female Friends
He has a couple but I see no reason to be bothered by it. He has known these women for over 15 years I see no reason why he shouldn't maintain these friendships.

Re: Female Friends
NVBBRD It does bother me on occasion... like she wants him to do her taxes and what not.. husband like duties, yet all she talks about is how much its great to be single... my opinion is if its so great then do your own husbandly duties!!!!!!!!!

Re: Female Friends
DH has a ton of guy friends but he doesn't really have female friends that he actually calls or hangs out with...His female friendships are the type where we see them at special occasions - parties, weddings, GTG's...
Honestly, I'm not sure how I would feel if he had active friendships where he regularly called or hung out with female friends without me...Trust aside - I think I would find that just plain weird and funny...When I have my gf's over, he can hardly stay in the same room with us for more than 10 minutes because we start giggling and talking 'girl' stuff... So I can't picture him relating too well with a bunch of women other than me...

Re: Female Friends
He has a few and I don't mind at all. We went to college together and so also we have a few mutual friends that are female and there is one that is always very flirtatous with him and it really ****es me off! Especially because she is supposed to be a friend of mine, not just his friend. I know she probably doesn't mean anything by it and it's just her personality, but I hate it because I feel like it is disrespectful to me.
