One of our GM just let us know that he is unable to be in the wedding because of prior committments out of state, he may be back in time but doesn't want to take the chance. We are bumping one of the ushers (we were going to have 2) to be a groomsman and I was thinking about asking my cousin (female and 14) to be an usher as well to fill in the empty slot. Just wondering if anyone else has done or seen female ushers before???

I'm having 2 female ushers (or usherettes as I've been calling them). I don't like any of FH's friends enough to make them ushers and the ones I do like are already his groomsmen. So we agreed to ask 2 of my oldest girl friends to do it. They were thrilled! I got them dresses in the same color as the BM's but in a tea length. All the girls look so cute together!
