Hi ladies...I am sure this has been requested by other posters but....We are looking for a fertility clinic somewhere near Wantagh/Seaford/Levittown. I really just want DH to get tested -- see if his guys are swimmers or not -- before we get too involved in the TTC thing. He seems to be so opposed to it, what is the problem with men?? Well before I have to go through any kind of painful or time-consuming manouvers, I want to make sure he isn't shooting blanks -- he's 39 and I am 38 so we don't have much time. Thanks for any suggestions!!

I don't have a suggestion for you (My RE has an office in Mineola, that is not near you right?) but I have to say I am very lucky...my DH has never given me a hard time about him getting tested. He has been tested twice and we have also done IUI times too. Maybe instead of going to a fertility clinic first, try going to your ob/gyn and see if they suggest a lab that you can go to. That is what my ob/gyn did before I started going to the RE.

Kreiner IVF is in Hicksville. I think the # is 516 939 BABY.

Thanks ladies --- Mineola is do-able. I wanted to just go to a lab, but my PCP said why bother? If we go to a RE (what does that stand for, btw?) then we would be starting at the place we might need to end up at. I don't know..... It's tough because he is afraid it MIGHT be him, but he doesn't want to face that possibility yet, I think. Maybe I'll give it a few more months of trying.

RE is Reproductive Endocrinology. What does your OG/GYN say? An RE may not see you right away if you have not even tried...like I mentioned in the post before have your OB/GYN refer you to a lab so you can have your DH tested.
