Fertility test 'The Donna'
I have two children and am getting married soon. My Fi wants children of his own I want to wait a while. Has anybody heard of The Donna? It is suppose to be 98% accurate. I want to know when I am fertile and not have to worry about any other devices. I heard it is good, but everybody on this board has given me so many ideas and other info that I was curious before I start taking it

Re: Fertility test 'The Donna'
I have never heard of the Donna but there is times in the month when you are safe. Why don't you talk to your doctor & see what they say.

Re: Fertility test 'The Donna'
Let me correct myself it is not something you take, it is a saliva test. So, you can be sure when you are fertile and when you are not.

Re: Fertility test 'The Donna'
Just out of curiosity, where did you hear about it? My girlfriend saw an ad in parenting magazine and recommended it to me. I just have been having more trust in what everybody on this board has been saying regarding wedding planning. That I figured I could carry over into otheraspects of my life.

Re: Fertility test 'The Donna'
I actually heard of it from you and then did some research regarding it, it seems so much more simpler than spending 150 on a monitor or charting temps. We are TTC so it seems like it might be a good option

Re: Fertility test 'The Donna'
I never heard of the Donna, but ovulation predictor kits (OPK) are good for telling if you're fertile. It's similar to a pregnancy test, you just pee on a stick and detects the LH hormone.

Re: Fertility test 'The Donna'
I tried other things with my first husband and i agree this does seem simplier.I am not ready for kids now, but I know my fi will want them. I might order it
soon this way when the time comes I will be prepared.
Did you do a search oncenceiving? I mostly am into the parenting stage of
stuff, so this is all new to me again.

Re: Fertility test 'The Donna'
I saw it I saw it! I was in the doctor's office and he had a July issue of Newsweek in the waiting room (are those magazines EVER up to date??) anyway, in this issue was a picture on the Donna and how it works and why it is so good. According to this Newsweek, it is only $60 and can be re-used for a whole year, with nothing else to buy. That's good, because I don't want to bother with any sessy urine teste...this sounds so much better. WHo has one here? is it working for you? should i get one? do you recommend it? Lilli did you get one yet? what do you think?
