Festive, Frantic, Apologetic, Ecstatic!
So tonight was our company holiday party.
I got all dolled up and I was pretty proud of how I looked. Got to the party at my bosses mansion and had a couple of appetizers. My 3 year old complains that he isn't feeling well.
*inserting stupidity newsflash* My 5 year old and I were violently ill yesterday with some sort of stomach bug that had us puking our guts out *end newsflash*
ANYHOW... I take my little guy to sit on the couch. I hold him, stroke his back and then WHAM! He vomits! I pick him up so he can be OFF the couch and BLURGGHHH! He does it again. RIGHT IN MY FACE, in my eyes, in my hair, down my shirt, on my pants...
Now I am a mom - this isn't the first time I have gotten to be on the receiving end of this kind of sick.. BUT it was in front of EVERYONE! I was soaked and smelly and he destroyed the bosses couch! I could NOT stop apologizing!
I am in the bathroom and that's it... we have to go. BUT.. before we do, I get little parting gift bag. I get home and guess what I got?
An IPod Nano and a Bonus check. My bonus check was about 2 thousand dollars more than I expected so I am HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!![]()
