Just ordered my Channa Plaque

SAME HERE!!!
My last name is Regina, FH's is Mahoney. There is NO WAY, I'm going to be Dr. Mahoney....My butt worked hard for my medical degree and my father would kill me, lol. My FH even jokes that he will take my last name, and we all have a good laugh.
But....I love the look of a Channa plaque, and the whole monogram idea is driving me crazy!
I hate the look of AR GM (both our initials)...but i'm not planning on changing my name....what to do!?

I hear that!! I feel like my name is my identity and i'm having a really hard time with this. Changing it to his mom's name is even weirder.

Besides the fact that i work for NYC DOE.....I have heard HORROR stories from other teachers who have gotten crazy payroll issues from the change of name. It scares me even more that we currently do not have a payroll secretary.
Even hyphenating sounds weird-- 'Coughlan-Friedman' DOES NOT flow. YIKES!!!

congrats....i see ur a jt bride fyi...if u want to use the tv's in the room u need to book with the inhouse dj's ....i donno if that will make or break ur dj decision

I have heard some horror stories as well with DOE and changing names....2 of my friends at work were married in the summer and put in their name change in June before school was over and when they came back in September, it seemed to have worked out.
