Few weekend checks!
1) Met with the church on Saturday and handing in all our church documents and got all the formalities out of the way. We didn't know this until we got there but we had to do a 'Pre-Marital Investigation' (PMI). I had to sit in one room while the priest asked FH questions. I was so nervous because I had no idea what questions were being asked or what FH's answers were. What if I didn't answer the same?! Turns out when it was my turn to go they were just 'Yes' and 'No' answers to standard questions like, 'Are you in any way related?', 'Have you even been married before?', 'Are you entering into this freely?', etc. So it was bad at all. Also the priest at my church that we met with was very nice. We need to call back in the next week or so to talk to the music director there to finalize our music selections with her (which we already did we just have to tell her). I also asked FSIL if she would like to do a reading at the ceremony and she said yes ![]()
... <3 u! So everything is done and we can start printing the programs!
2) The guys and my dad went to get measured yesterday for their tuxes so that's all done.
Up next:
- Dinner with priest on Wednesday (it got cancelled last week so we rescheduled for this week)
- RSVP date this Thursday
- doing seating arrangements with FH's parents this Sunday.
- finalizing music for DJ appointment next weekend.
- finishing up personalized water bottles this weekend
- start printing menus/programs
I'm so happy things are getting knocked off this to-do list!
