FFIL Passed

You can make all the plans you like , do all the things you need to do, then real life & it's twists & turns has the ultimate say. Last night we lost my FFIL. This was a guy that was in my life as much as any one of my best friends. We rode motorcycles together, & was the reason I got my first bike. He was a great friend. I was so looking forward to his antics at our wedding. We made a choice to put the wedding off, until we get past this. I look at people posting how In-Laws are butting in, how heads are banging..........I can't imangine how that could be. My future in laws are two of the the best people in my life, now one is gone. I'll miss him dearly.

I am so, so, sorry He sounds like a great man and he will rest peacefully knowing that his son has found a great woman. He will be there for both of you on your wedding day, please believe it!

First I have to say how sorry I am for you, your FH and your whole family. What a terrible thing to happen and to happen at this time for you.
I would like to say thank you to you being close to your in laws. I am blessed with two wonderful DILs whom I love dearly and we get along very well and my sons get along and love their families too. It does disturb me to hear all the negatives by the girls about the MOGs. I feel some of them don't understand that we love our sons just as much as their mothers love them. So again I thank you for understanding that your FH's family is also yours and loving them.
I hope you have a beautiful wedding and a wonderful life.
