I think it really is up to you. When you start getting to 10 or 11 and up...I know a lot of people have the really cute little ones but my nieces are older but still wanted to be in my wedding and I said of course. So I'm actually having ones that are 10, 9 and 7 because they've always wanted to be a part of my wedding. One who is 11 is going to be an altar server - her choice. Some people do junior bridesmaid but I don't like the idea of junior bridesmaid...to me it's flower girl or bridesmaid. JMO.
its up to you. I prefer younger little girls for my flower girls, they are going to be 3.
mine is going to be almost 5...i made my little cousins age almost 8 and almost 10 jr bridesmaids!
Everything I read said 8. But I have a cousin who will be 9 that I'm going to have as a flower girl. I'd make her a jr bm but #1 if I do that FH's mother wants her nephew as a jr usher and I'd prefer not doing that and #2 the fg we already have may not want to do it all (she's 5 and she told her mom that she doesn't want to do it, so we'll see) so I'd like to have at least one fg.
mine is only going to be 2 at the time of the wedding
my girls will be 8 and 6. I had younger cousins I could have picked, but although the little ones are adorably cute I've seen too many hysterically crying and refusing to walk down the aisle, I was a little scared that would happen so I picked the girls who were a little older and have been FG's before. Thats also the reason we have no RB, he would only be 2.
I have a 8 year old and a 4 year old
mine will be 4 and a half and my jb will be 10..i just thought she would be too old to be a fg..jmo
