is it bad to get a communion dress for the fg as opposed to a fg dress?
i was going to do this all along, but FH mentioned last night that he thought the parents might think it was strange that we were having them buy something 'off the rack' as opposed to custom ordering one. communion and fg dresses look the same to me and since the wedding is in may, it's the perfect time for us to pick out a fg dress now.

no, I don't see an issue with that. Her parents will probably be happy about it because you will be saving them money this way.

thanks girls, i just copied and pasted your responses in an email to FH..
i think he had me second guessing it when he insisted taht a fg dress should be ordered and that there might be a difference between a communion dress and a fg dress. he always manages to make me feel like i'm doing this whole planning-stuff wrong.

I don't think there is much of a difference between the 2 dresses other than the price tag!!

This is what my brother and his FW are doing and it was so much cheaper!
