Here is a pic of the BM dress. The fabric is not your usual satin, it's called 'Pageant' and it gives off a shimmer, but up close, it looks a little grainy. I don't think there's a FG dress out there that has this fabric, so I was wondering what you guys think of this idea: I was going to get a very plain, white satin FG dress, that has the loops to put a sash thru. We are ordering extra purple fabric to cover cleavage for the BM's, and I was thinking the seamstress can make a sash for the FG w/ the extra material. What do you guys think of this?
That is a great ideas, my sister had mentioned the same thing with my FG dress also. If I can't get the FG dress I want, then I am doing the same thing. My BP dress is grape with a ruby double face back.
I think it's a cute idea to make a sash out of the same fabric. It will look very nice. Be sure to take pics!

I was thinking of the same thing, I think its a great idea!! This way BM dresses matches with FG sash perfectly.
