I'm working on a gift to give my flowergirls that they can use/wear for their own wedding day in the future to go along with this poem....
You are so very young, but the years will pass by and you'll too be a bride, in the blink of an eye. While you may not remember, the day that I married, the part that you played, or the basket you carried. There will be a day, that will burn bright like an ember. The day you will wed, you will always remember. So here is a ______, for the day you will say... 'I need 'something old' for my wedding day'
Any ideas to fill in the blank???

I'm clueless as to what to fill in the blank..but I must say..this is the CUTEST thing EVER! I wish my sister did this to me when I was her FG. I'll run this idea by my FSIL and see if she finds it cute too ... to give to both her girls. Awww.

I remember seeing this done by another LIW bride...I think she gave the FG a blue handkerchief that could be her something blue and something old when she's a bride

First thing that came to mind was 'hankie' It will always fit, too! it's a keepsake and can always gieve her something extra for your wedding day to use at their ages now :) That's a beautiful poem, I may have to steal it!
