So, I went with FMIL to David's Bridal on Saturday to have FG (FH's little sister) try on a flower girl dress. We bought a beautiful white dress with a brown sash with a bow in the back. She looked beautiful and I wish I took pics. Anyway, I am worried about her being cold. I bought brown shawls for the BM's. Should I get something for FG and if so, any ideas of where to get it? TIA!

Re: FG Shawl
if you know anyone crafty, you can probably make one easily by just getting some fabric from a craft shop (JoAnns, Michaels, etc).....

Re: FG Shawl
Can you buy the same one you bought for the BMs for the FG-- and just have a taylor or even a local dry cleaner who has a taylor, cut it for you. I can't imagine it would cost that much.

Re: FG Shawl
My FG's wore a fake fur cape, it was really cute, I have pictures of them in it in my album. I got it at the Sunrise mall it was about 40 bucks.

Re: FG Shawl
maybe just a little cardigan that she could wear again after. A shawl might be hard for a little girl to manage, depending on how old she is.

I would try Burlington Coat Factory.

ITA. Managing a shawl, a basket, it's just too much for a little girl. A cardigan or a fur capelet would be the best.
