FH 30th Surprise Party...

FH 30th Surprise Party...

Hi Ladies,

I am throwing my FH a SURPRISE 30th birthday party this Saturday... the party will be for 4 hours (about 40-50 people) and I need help figuring out how much to tip:

3 Bartenders (paying $13pp for open bar)

1 Waitress (she is charging $100)

DJ (I think he is charging me around $450)

Plus I had to pay for the room to rent $$$... ugh!

Anyway, I am at a loss how much to tip these people... I don't want to tip over $200 all together...

Please help

would it be ghetto to have a tip jar for the bartenders and have the guests tip whatever they want ? LOL

i did that once for a party I had and they loved it! the guests too! after getting hammered, i know the guests were very generous...lol

I think your guests will prob tip the bartenders... I would prob give the waitress the most out of everyone since shes by herself.. as long as shes good!

Sorry 2011er Crashing...

I'm a bartnder and do parties usually i put a tip cup out and then the people who threw thr party for that amount of people give me 30-50 on top of that...

the waitresses usually get 25 tip

the dj idk...maybe 50-100
