Thanks, I saw that thread. He just said purple cause it's his favorite color. I'm gonna have to find a way to win this one, maybe I will get him a grooms cake with purple on it or something...

the original colors that i wanted my FH didnt want. we worked through a few color schemes until we found one that we agreed on, together. i got my primary color i wanted but i toned it down so that we would both be happy.
in my opinion, every aspect of the wedding should be decided together (well any aspect that he has an opinion on) because its not my wedding...its our wedding.

I do agree I just feel when it comes to colors it is more of a girl thing - between the flowers and the BM dresses that all has to be the colors you like.
I am just going on my experience and FH just told me as long as it wasnt pink he could care less

What Jackie said... if FH has an opinion on something or vice versa we find a way to make it work. It's OUR wedding. I'm not marrying myself. I took my FH to David's Bridal showed him 4 or 5 color combinations that I liked and we went from there. We came to sky blue and rose. His favorite color is blue so instead of Navy like he wanted I just picked a color that better suited our theme.... win/win.

joanne he went to davids bridal with you!!!! that is awesome!! my fh doesnt want to be ne where near dresses, colors or flowers lol...thank god for my mom coming with me for those. Other then that we have an equal say in everything....I wonder what would happen if I had him in neon pink...not that I would but wouldnt he be surprised lol
