We were going to go to the NY Aquarium and then walk on Coney Island but the weather has squashed that idea.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do or where to go?
We're looking to do something different.

Awe... that's so nice. Wish I had the day off. Enjoy it with FH...
did you ever go to those pottery places? There was one in Hoboken, NJ I went to with my girl friend... you can bring wine and food and make something and paint it. It's fun and different. It used to be a kids thing, but they're trying to gear it to adults. Maybe go to a museum in the city...

You can go to the Aquarium in Riverhead, then lunch and maybe a little outlet shopping.

My FH has off this whole week (yeah he is a teacher) maybe I should change my profession, lol. I only have off on Good Friday and may take off tomm. I would say on a day like this to maybe go to the movies or stay in and watch a movie. Its sooo dark out like its nigt

You can go to the museum--Met, MOMA, Natural History, Guggenheim, TV & Radio....
If you want to stay on the Island, why not go to one of the mansions and take a tour...

Too bad it's gross out... I'd say the wineries are fun. What about the Outlets and do shopping.
