FH and I made a decision on our HM!!!!

Since we are getting married during hurricane season and want to go to the islands and risk it we have decided to take my aunt's timeshare for the week right after we are married and then go to an all-inclusive in Feb. It works out since I am off 2 weeks during the wedding he can take off those 2 weeks also. Then when Feb comes around he can get another week off being it a new year! So we will have 2 HMs!!!!
Now we have to look at the book and see where we can go with a 5 hr drive away.....

That's what FH and I might end up doing... small HM right after the wedding and wait until it's an appropriate time to go somewhere tropical.

Great idea!!! What about a mini-road trip. You can go to Ocean City Maryland for a few nites, then go to Virgina Beach. There's also really cute places in PA, like the Poconos...There's a lot of really nice places to visit within 5hours from NY..I'm sure you guys will find something beautiful!

Great idea!!! What about a mini-road trip. You can go to Ocean City Maryland for a few nites, then go to Virgina Beach. There's also really cute places in PA, like the Poconos...There's a lot of really nice places to visit within 5hours from NY..I'm sure you guys will find something beautiful!

We thought of the poconos or maybe Maine but, I have to see the book to get more ideas. I like the idea of doing a few nights here and there but, we can only have 1 place for the week.

This place is awesome in the summer!! I highly reccommend it for a small trip. Tons of things to do espcially in the summer.

I absolutely LOVE Virginia Beach. And it's really cute because everywhere you look it says 'Virginia Is For Lovers'

If you can only do one I really recommend this. It's weird it's like theres everything and nothing to do at the same time. The sand on the beach is immaculate! Then theres a million stores along the strip. There's restaurants and icecream places...then theres lounges/bars/clubs...there's miniature golf courses, arcades and street performers on every corner. Then theres dolphin cruises, and an aqurium and Busch Gardens nearby. Then there's also little scary houses and mazes and stuff like that. There's like a ton of little fun things to do...HAHA i am totally rambling but I am dying to go back..we had such a great time there and we thought we were going to be bored!
