FH and i signed up for dance lessons!!

we wanted to take lessons but individual lessons were a few hundred dollars, and since we're paying for everything ourselves we just didn't have the extra money for it...

so we're taking group lessons in an 8 week class...ballroom and swing. it was much cheaper to do it this way and it sounds like fun. we start next tuesday...i'm SOOOO excited!!

anyone else taking lessons?!

I am I am!! I love them, we started in september and it is so much fun. So far we learned swing, merengue, waltz, rhumba (sp?) and a little tango

it is LI Dance...they have a location in baldwin, and one in massapequa. we're going to their place in baldwin. it was only $75 per person for 8 group classes. if you want more info let me know!

group, you're right about the individual lessons, way too expensive. But our group is very small, there is only 6 other people in the class

it took me a year, but I just finally convinced FH to take lessons. Anyone know any inexpensive studios in the Holbrook area?

oh my god...we are going for dance lessons and we have a great time. It is a lot of fun but we are doing private lessons but still we have learned alot so far in a few weeks.

Yay Jeanette!! Wish I could find something like that out here since we're also in the Holbrook area. I looked a while ago but kinda stalled....I need to get my arse in hear since I wanted to start by now but i haven't looked in a while.

The only ones I know of are about $75/lesson

If you find anything PLEASE let me know.

Thats awesome- I think a group lesson would be more fun. Besides- you can learn a bunch of dances that way!

We need to, but are waiting for FHs work schedule to slow down in Jan/Feb.

Poor guy .has no rhythm..hes like the dude from Footlose- haha
