FH and planning

Are you designating any specific tasks for your FH to take care of? My FH is very into music and songs, so this is his task to complete for our wedding (he just doesn't know this yet :) )

And are they all into the planning or do you get the 'this is all you, babe' response?

Re: FH and planning

He initially gave me the 'this is all you, I gave you the ring that was my job' but he's surprisingly been much more involved than I was expecting (on his own). I mentioned to him that I would start looking at florists with my mom in September to spare him, and he gave me a 'oh you don't want me to come with you?' with a pair of puppy dog eyes. I was shocked!

FH and planning

FH comes with me to all the vendors and knows everything going on but he doesn't do much deciding. I wouldn't leave anything for him to do though lol it would never get done.

FH and planning

Ha! FH comes with me to most vendor appointments, but mostly it's 'whatever you like babe' he was super helpful in venue hunting though. He's a catering chef so he dissected every menu.

FH and planning

FH acts like he is fainting anytime I say wedding or show him a magazine (jokingly ) FH is just like 'whatever you want' but he knows what's going on. He has insisted on a handful of things and the rest I decided on. He comes with me to appointments and stuff.

He secretly helps me with my DIY projects. (not so secret anymore!)

FH and planning

lol FH doesn't want anything to do with anything. I show him things and he just says 'whatever you want. it's your day.' I know he went to all the venue appointments with me, since we are big foodies and wants a place with great food.

FH and planning

My FH is just as involved as I am. I've never really been to weddings and he's been to tons so he's been a big help. We tried splitting up tasks but we're much more comfortable making decisions together.

FH and planning

FH has surprisingly been very involved- the only thing he hasn't helped me with so far was addressing the save the dates.

FH and planning

FH is way more involved than I expected him to be. Though he says I get the final say, he does want to be a part of it all.

FH and planning

FH has been very hands on surprisingly. He actually picked our venue (as I just sat there taking it all in that I was getting married) as well as our DJ. Lol The little finishing touches I always include him because he does give me good feedback. Except when he acts like a groomzilla and then I regret asking him. Hahahahaha

FH and planning

My FH has been super involved in the planning. He has a lot of opinions on how things should be and what he likes. Luckily we've both agreed on pretty much everything. But some things are still undecided lol!!

However I'm happy he's been involved. It made the wedding about us - not just me.

And that is why I loved his involvement! It was about US which I think made many of the decisions so much easier. Very exciting.

FH and planning

My FH and I found the way we worked best together, was I did the research and found a few options (higher end - mid price - lower end). Then we talked about each of the options and came to a decision! He's been very helpful!
