FH annoyed me yesterday!!

Yesterday we had a huge fight, on Vaccuums! LOL. Can you believe that??! Anyway he wants a vaccuum with the canister the one that drags behind you. I want an upright. He tells me uprights are to heavy blah blah! But the reason I like them is because they are bagless, and that i dont need to worry about the it dragging behind me knocking into walls. SO friday we are going to look at them again! What kind do you ladies like better? and why? Upright or the Canister? Thanks

Don't hate me but get the Canister!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the SAME EXACT fight with FH in the middle of Fortunoff ((Soooo embarassing! )) He had me plugging the vacuums in in the middle of the store and making me vacuum around...omggg I can't even tell you, it was horrible. ANYWAY, I finally agreed to have an open mind and used my cousin's Upright Dyson in our living room to 'try it out' thinking I was Hot Sh!t!! It was so hard to get it around my coffee table and i couldn't vacuum under the little area by the bar nor under my bed. I have to side with FH now, I know the bags suck but manuevering that upright is ridiculous! Dyson makes an awesome Canister Vacuum. For the sake of argument, at least check it out??

sorry BUT thats somethign FH woudl make me do too !!! hahahahah

try it.. see what u like.. but i def say upright....
my mom had a canaster and
1. my cat woudl attack it
2. it woudl get stuck in the other room
3. bc it got stuck behind.. it eventually broke

**easier to store

** easier to carry around because there is usually a handle and you can almost always fold down the handle you use to push the damn thing.

I am so outnumbered! LOL However, the older I get, the more I realize how much my mom actually knows. ((Just some food for thought))

my parents insist we get a cannister! FH wants an upright, and i don't really care, but my parents swear by the cannister...so i don't know what we'll do!

IMO I find the cannisters to be better with hard wood/tile/linoleum but the upright is def more thorough on carpeting than the cannister. So I guess it depends on the type of floors that you have. Why not register for both?! haha

My parents have had cansiters all the time. I have an upright and to be honest, the canister is easier to manuver.

Honestly the uprights are convenient buttt I have already went through 2 they are no good on hard floors. They just dont suck anything up. I have a canister now and I love it. It gets the job done lol (so Martha Stewart)
