I don't know what the problem is... We have one semi-friend who we see MAYBE once a year that we didn't invite to our engagement party... I would like to stress that WE decided, together WE discussed!!!! Well, something happened, I don't know what, but now FH isn't talking to me, pissed that I didn't invite the kid, blah blah blah. He hung up the phone on me, and now I am AGAIN getting the silent treatment...

Hahahah, I know!!! He's actually really hurt by his friends. We sent out invites to our engagement party & asked everyone to rsvp with my mom by this Friday... NONE of his friends from down here have. When he asked them what was up half of them said they didn't have time to rsvp yet, some just said they hadn't done it yet... Meanwhile, FH is ALWAYS the first to rsvp to something and to be there to help out, celebrate, what not... there is not a single party he misses, even if I can't go, he does. When he was living in NJ not a single one of them went to visit him! I just feel so bad for him!!!! His college buddies are the best, they are flying out to Vegas for his bachelor party.... and are all getting ready now!

That is hurtful. So this group of guys seem to be on the flaky side...are they all GM too?

Thank God no... only one in this group is a gm and that's the only one that actually rsvp'ed with my mom. That's his b/f since he was 5. The rest are all his good friends since jr high, his gm are 2 college buddies, the one friend since he was 5, my bro & bm is his cousin. I just hate seeing him down in the dumps like that! He deserves so much more, and I wish they would see that. Most of the problem is that they just don't see how much this is hurting him! He lets his friends tease him all the time, I really feel like they just don't respect him the way that he deserves to be respected!

That would make me so mad. I think its hard for guys to let go of their childhood friends, no matter how $hitty they are...my fh has some winners, but since I've been around I set them straight lol.

Well, that's just it, they've been really amazing with things lately. Coming to our parties, organizing camping weekends, making plans ahead of time.... I think that's why it's pissing us off so much!

yeah, when he told me what was going on, I was all teary eyed because I felt so bad for him!
