Okay so, we decided no gifts since were renovating the basement...and we would take eachother out to a nice resturant..
for my birthday he took me to some zagat #2 place (and we really werent too pleased... frog legs are not my specialty) and now I want to take him somewhere... but not a serious somewhere...a FUN somewhere...
anyone have any ideas? First i was going to get him young frankenstein tickets and then take him to eat but he mentioned he didnt feel like eating in the city...
then iw as thinking the melting pot but i dont know...
we have to be in proximity so that i can take him to the cupcake shop for dessert! lol

MMM, I know this great place called Vegetarian Paradise near Washington Square. I can give you the address if you want. It is a great oriental style restaurant. They make chicken and fish with veggies and tofo- sounds gross but it is amazing! I am a meat eater and I was grossed out when my friend told me about this place. When I checked it out with him, he became a favorite of mine!

what about the restaruant on top pf the marriot marquis in times square....FH took me there for my bday one year it was really nice great view of the city!

i was going to suggest the mystery dinner theater show. where you eat and are part of the show thats happening right in front of u. its fun! but if he hates italian food then ur outta luck bcuz thats what the restaurant serves.
i also like MT. FUJI. its a hibachi steakhouse. BEAUTIFUL!!! but its in hillburn, ny so its kindof a drive. MT. FUJI

I know this probably wouldn't fall on his actual birthday, but we just went to this show - the Soaprano's one for FH's dad's birthday - and we had such a good time!
