FH Birthday ideas???

FH Birthday ideas???

So, I loveeee giving gifts and planning something for his bday, but I feel like I'm fresh out of ideas! I've done the surprise city thing (broadway show, dinner out), Giants Tickets, couples cooking class, 30th b-day get together with friends...What else is there??

Any creative or fun ideas??? Mind you, I'm slightly on a budget this year due to lack of job (So no Giants tix this year!) But I have some extra money to spend on him

He's so good to me ALL the time, so I like to make his birthday extra special.

a day out East (vineyards, maybe a night at a B&B)
a night up in the Poconos (covehaven resorts get a lot of praise on here, from what I have seen)
the pizza bus tour in Brooklyn that I see online and WANT to do! lol
a day of pampering for both of you, if he likes massage etc

You've done some amazing things for him!!

I know you've done it before, but a dinner out in the city (like a steakhouse) is always a good idea for the easy-going FH's.
Getaway weekend like Melissa suggested either upstate or even in AC
Giants related goodies in a basket or something

My FH's bday is this month too and I just bought him a Jets jersey and pre-ordered the newest Call of Duty. I'm also going to pick a restaurant in the city and surprise him for dinner on his day.

So - from a guy's perspective, here are some ideas:

My fiancee bought me a flight lesson (I was always dying to go) for Mid Island Air Service out of McArthur Airport. That was an awesome experience!
Cost is anywhere between 80-200 depending on lesson, time, and area.

You can do a driving experience! Costco and other clubs sometimes have deals where your FH has the chance to drive a supercar (Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc. ). Costs can be anywhere between 100-500+

Sky Diving
Approx 225 per person.

Fishing out of Captree, Moriches, etc.
Free if you go off the dock. About 60-80 a person for a chartered boat.

Paint balling.
Even if you have never done it before, you are gauranteed to have fun! A day of paintballing with paint, field admission and mask goes for between 50-90 bucks. I recommend Cousins Field or High Velocity.

Good luck!

Yeaa, I might get him a Giants jersey since he actually doesn't have one...He is extremely easy-going so that and dinner could work. My FH would probably love if I bought him a video game, I just don't want to encourage him more

Wow These are great ideas! Sky Diving is a NO due to the fact I know he'd never do it. But he loves his car and loves fast cars, so the driving thing sounds amazing. I'll have to look into that too. I was going to get him tints for his current love (his car) but it's a lease at the moment so I figured that'd be a waste.

Did you ever do the car driving thing???

Totally hear you--I'm either the best or worst fiance for always buying him COD!!

These are great ideas!

I was going to suggest the vineyards also.

I got my FH tickets to see Notre Dame play Navy in Maryland a couple of years ago, he absolutely loved it since ND is one of his favorite college teams.

I took him to an indoor rock climbing facility for our anniversary last year. It's over in Plainview.
