fh called me pushy

I know im way behind a lot of you and ive been trying to get things done for months.....I have all my addresses ready for the STDs he hasn't gotten 1, I found a flower place I really like but he wants us to try a place his mom knows and a limo place he knows.....I asked him if he called the limo or florist today.......and he called me PUSHY!!! he would wait til May 28th if he could. He just doesnt understand!!!

Am i the only one that has a fh thats acting like this????

no. I know FH wants to be involved, but they just don't get it, being the bride. I'm getting married around the same time as you and I still have a lot to do!

I don't know if anyone watches 'Bethanny getting married,' but there was a scene in the show (maybe two weeks ago) when she was just trying to get things done and talk to him, and he was busy watching a game on tv. I thought it was such a good scene, I saw FH walking into the house a few minutes later, so i rewound the episode to the beginning of the scene just so he walked in as it came on

although it's not the best example, he needs to see how other people handle wedding planning!! (i thought it was a better choice then watching bridezillas. . .i just can't stand them!)

I don't ask FH to do much cuz I don't mind doing this stuff. His problem with me is that he thinks my negotiating is unnecessary. But if I hadn't done that, then we would be paying more for these vendors. And now instead, we can use what we saved towards tips.

I just think that some FH's don't want to be bothered with the whole wedding planning bit and are just interested in the actual day.

I feel your pain!! we were just discussing this last night! He keeps saying he wants to be involved so I gave him a few projects... But his idea of working on them is making 2 phone calls and that's it!! And he doesn't get all the information or know what questions to ask so I have to coach him. Plus it makes me feel like such a nag! - Did you do this today? did you call this vendor?.... so finally last night I was like sweetie I love you and I know you don't work like me and just want to help and be involved but it's causing me more stress and frustration so please either start moving on these projects or give them back to me!!

We'll see how it works out from here on out......
