I was being silly as usual last night and FH says 'Help me my wife is crazy'. OMG I freaked out. Told him no I wasn't, not yet and not to say it cause I'm not ready to hear it yet. FREAKED me out to hear that! Makes it super real to hear that word. Trust me, I'm excited and can't wait to be his wife....but I like the fact I have almost 2 years to ease into that word
He was laughing his butt off the entire time cause I'm running around in a circle going OMG don't say that la la la la I'm not ready I can't hear you.(yes, I truly am 5)

I have had the total opposite happen to me...FH introduced me to his friend as his 'girlfriend'
He corrected himself, but it was too late....the damage was already done, lol!!!!!!!

I hate the words: boyfriend and girlfriend. So before we got engaged I would introduce FH as: This is Justin.
Now I say fiancee, or within our circle of friends I'll say: let me check with my husband. *shrug* . If I could go around to people in the non-LIW world and call him FH I would.

He always introduces me as his fiance and I still call him boyfriend. I get the look of course. Old habits die hard I guess I'm sure eventually your FH will get used to it. I'm sure I will as well.

lol! that is too funny. In the beginning it was weird for me to say fiance, but now I say it allll the time and when people make mistakes and say 'your boyfriend,' I quickly correct them and say, 'er u mean my fiance?' lol. Took me 4 1/2 years to get that title!

Its the opposite for us, FH still always introduces me as his girlfriend-i don't really care, and other people will correct him instead of me doing it

FH refers to me as wife, and I say nope I'm not a wife. I still say boyfriend because saying fiance still sounds weird to me.
