FH is divorced so I know we cannot hold the ceremony in a Catholic church...what types of churches allow 2nd marriages?? I am so clueless about this and we need to figure it out so we can book it! Thank you so much!!!!

My mom got remarried. I think she got married at a lutheran church. Not quite sure though.

Talk to your specific parish. A lot of parishes will allow you to marry inside the Church just not on the alter. Is your FH Catholic? There are a lot of great nondenominational chapels on the Island as well. I've heard great things about The Historic Chapel it looks like a regular church but you can do whatever you want.

We are both Catholic...I do not like the ceremony set up in the RH. Has to be indoors bc it's Nov. I was under the impression we could get married in any church other than a Catholic church. Don't know if this is true. I don't want to look like an idiot by asking the other churches.

You just might have enough time for an annulment. That's what we are going through right now.
