FH does not listen when I speak, I'm convinced!-UPDATE

Sooooo I ordered the groomsman's gifts, engraved cufflinks...we got them in the mail today and they came out gorgeous...i was so happy...until i realized he gave me the wrong initials...for his brother!(the best man!) ughhh So now i have to go through the hassle of returning them and paying for shipping and I am so angry right now because I went over it twice with him and he said 'yes! Now can i go back to playing my xbox?!'

Update: Sooooo the store won't take them back because they are personalized So if anyone knows someone with the initials ASW and wants free cufflinks let me know

Unfortunately, they never listen. I guess its something we have to get used to.

Sorry to hear. Is there a way to have these dipped by a jeweler and re-engraved? I think it's possible!

lol same here! when he is playing his x-box he shuts out everything around him and pays attention to nothing but his x-box.. but i guesss i cant complain cause when im on here and hes telling me something im really not listening to him either, lol! =P

Same with me. Unless I'm hemorraging, I get the 'Can't this wait?' I tell him 'No, b/c if I wait for you it'll never get done!' He doesn't like it, but it's been effective so far!

oh yeah seems men are good at not listening

he drove me nuts bc he says i am the most difficult person to buy a gift for and i dont like anything which isnt true at all but whatever lol, i just dont sit there and give ppl a list like him. ANyways i got so annoyed at him saying this, that i dont give clues. HELLO ive been saying I want the WII for the LOONGEST time, ive even said it recently. We bought one for his brother not long ago and i hinted again at it. DH today looks at me all surprised he said he did think about it BUT he was afraid that i might've bought it for him. Last month i did bring it up to see if he would like it and he said NO thats a gift for both of us not for me only so why would i get it for him since he wants gifts that are just for him lol. I dont care on the other hand so i wanted one. He tries to make me feel bad for being difficult to buy a gift for but ive only been saying i want a Wii since god knows when lol if you listen you wouldve known and not stress yourself out he said he was gonna get me the iphone i am not a big phone person, cells kinda annoy me and not that its bad but when i always complain about cell phones and ppl on their phones all the time and complain about him with his iphone, why would you get me that

Ahhh.... yes
My FH asked me 500 times when Pre Cana was... when it came to a couple weeks before he told me when his gigs were (he is in a band) and one of them was on the Pre Cana date.... I was sooooo incredibly mad!

But then sitting in Church the next week he just burst into tears for no apparent reason and when I asked what was wrong he said he felt really bad about missing our Pre Cana... so I couldn't exactly hold it over his head.

He listens, he just forgets.... A LOT!

A friend of mine got cuff links for their groomsmen - and they turned out great! They got them from Babies & Brides in Ronkonkoma. My whole family goes there for everything too. Give them a try - great place & great prices!

i have to take this back, i feel so bad lol. He did get me the Wii, was trying to say things to see if i got it bc he was worried about that lol. Oh and everyone said this year how i am so difficult to buy for so i guess he is right. And he brought up how he bought my jewelry 2 years ago for x-mas and how i never wear it, so i wore it yesterday. But i feel bad about this post now lol. His mom also got me a burberry vest, which i had told dh a while ago that i loved his and he remembered and told his mom to get me that, so he does listen i guess lol. Since i bashed him i felt i should take it back lmao

aww yay thats great that he got you the WII! i love that! i got the FH that this july for his birthday and we love it! we actually havent played it, but it was a hit once we got it and we love that thing! especially when your just hanging out one night at home just chillen, its a great thing to have.. you should also get wii fit!! i got that and its owesome and you will love it!! =]

now i want the rock band.. haha! =P
