My FH doesn't want to go to the wedding of the year, but I really want to!! We have never been at one before.
Please post opinions about the wedding of the year so I can show FH that a lot of people and their FHs thought it was fun.

Look at this from the 08 boards. I showed this to FH, and he was still 'EH' about going, but still SO MUCH better than before. He's actually looking forward to it now, esp cause he hopes we'll be big winners!
A lot of FH's don't want to go. I had to con my FH into it and believe me, it was not easy. If he really doesn't want to go, grab a g/f and go with her!

its sooooo much fun!! tons of food--dancing---OPEN BAR! not to mention that you wind up taking home tons of great stuff for free that vendors give you as samples--its fantastic! tell your FH that it really is a great time

FH says he'll go but I don't think he really knows what it is..and doesnt know you have to pay...he he..I'm still deciding..it does sound fun!!

Mine won't go either. Its his birthday weekend. Boo. I asked my SIL if she'll come with me and FH got mad cause I'd be missing his birthday weekend. So I can't go now either.
I am just worried about the money that's why i am not sure. It's 30 p.p right?

I didn't even bother asking FH to go. My sister (who's my MOH) was more than excited to leave the kids with her hubby and come with me.

i told him about it at early this morning when he was half asleep!! and i bought the tickets spur of the moment!! i hardly know what it is but it sounds like a showcase staged like a real wedding! right?!

thanks everyone. My FH agreed to go, but very very unwillingly. I am sure I will hear about it until then.
He has already said 'So let me get this straight. You don't want to ...(fill in the blank with something he thinks is fun)... but you want to go to the WEDDING OF THE YEAR???'
Maybe I will just take a girlfriend.

Take your MOH or your mom or a friend. FH wouldn't go to one of those things no matter what I promied to give him in exchange.
