I have posted before about how he doesn't even want to wear a ring. I can understan that, he hates jewelry and his job is sort of physical and he doesn't want to lose it or scratch it. But, I just told him that all I want is just ONE pic , and he said no.
Does anyone else's FH fight them this much? Are they really that freaking macho and can't suck it up for this one time in their lives??? Or did I get stuck with the only one who is too 'cool' to do something like that for his FB.
UPDATE: This actually turned out to be a huge argument last night between us. HE slammed the door and everything lol
Finally this morning I am trying to explain to him that he can do whatever he wants. We can have a fun shoot where he wears his 'Phuck Philly' t-shirt and is beating up the Philly Phanatic or something. And NOW after all this arguing he goes 'oh...that would be cool.'
It doesn't have to be traditional candlelights and roses type of stuff. I am just happy to say that 'I won' lol

I haven't brought up the E-Pics to FH yet. I figure when we visit the photographers and they mention it then I can bring it up
I know he's probably going to be ok with it until I tell him he can't wear his normal street clothes... But I will take him freaking shopping for an outfit if I have to.

try aking him for a christmas photo of you two for christmas cards or if you have a friend that can take a couple of pic of the two of you?? while you are out some where.

What if you explain to him how important this is to you?? My FH was also hesitant but he gave in pretty easily. The idea of wearing a ring is still weird to him. He doesn't wear jewlery either and he's really not looking forward to it....but he has no choice!!!

I might try the route of 'this will give us a chance to work with the person who will shoot out wedding pics.' That way we will be less uncomfortable. That's how I got FH to do E-pics.

Im sorry hun Honestly he should do E-Pics FOR YOU Im sure there are mnay things you do to make him happy if you want this he should do it!
A lot of guys dont like jewerly but he should wear a ring...if his job is physical he can not wear it during work!

lol glad to see he came around....they always do definetly go on the hunt for a candid photographer! our photographer was so comfortable...he just made us laugh the whole time & honestly those made for the best pics!

CONGRATS!!! and no it doesnt have to be candlelights and roses, although ive yet to see that in e-pics hahahaha. Even our wedding day pics theres pics of DH with a cig and a glass of scotch standing in front of graffiti walls. So it can be different.
ETA: i agree to look for more of a photojournalistic photographer. A traditional one will want you to do the loving type poses.

Yay! I'm so happy he gave in. Once he's there the photographer will make him feel comfortable and it'll go great!!!!!
