FH driving me CRAZY!
Last year, we bought 5 ties that had the salmon color that's the main color of the wedding all in different patterns. We said that he would wear the solid color tie and all GMs would wear the patterned ties and we'd either do no vests or black vests.
Fast forward to last week when its' time to shop for tuxes and now he's thrown a groomzilla tantrum and insisted that he should be able to decide what his GMs wear and I dont' get a say and dont' even get to come with him and see what they're wearing until the day of. So I said absolutely not, I at least get to see what you chose and veto if I hate it. So he went last night with one of his GMs and decided that he would wear ivory and the GMs would do the black tuxes with the different ties. I think that will make it look like they're from 2 different weddings. What do you think?
Not only THAT but he's now decided that he and all of the GMs will be changing into black shirts for the reception. So he'll be wearing a black shirt with an ivory vest and tie for the reception. No offense to girls who are actually have this and like this style but I really HATE this idea and think that it won't be formal enough for our wedding. I'm wearing a beaded lace ivory gown and in all of our reception photos, he'll have a black shirt on, looking like a freaking DJ or like we're at a sweet 16. UGH!
