This wedding is costing a fortune, and we are already on such a tight budget... were actually over budget.
Can anyone help with FH gift ideas???? and are we supposed to exchange on the day of the rehearsal dinner or the day of the wedding?
Please help

You don't have to do gifts! Is he getting you one? My FI when I mentioned it had no idea that anyone exchanged gifts he said 'I'm giving you me isn't that enough haha' . If you really want to do something how about DIY Boudoir pics? You could have a friend take them and make a nice book yourself. Or think of a gift that he might really like and tell him in a nice card that after the honeymoon you are planning on getting it for him. I wouldn't feel pressure though to do anything , you have the rest of your lives to be buying each other presents!

I'm tossed between get FH a bracelet or an IPad but I'm leaning toward the bracelet.
You could get him cuff links, a wallet, a watch, a groom's cake?

Re: FH gift
well I spent a gazillion dollars on this watch...ugh! I also did bpics.
But I am getting him little gifts (some gag gifts) the day of...one for each bridesmaid i have. I'll send each girl up to his room to deliver it thoughout the morning...so far I got him an Arnold Schwarzeggar tshirt (he;s obsessed hah) and a nice pair of his and her chopsticks, I plan on getting him cufflinks, not sure all what else yet.
I am giving him his watch and a bpics book the night of the rehearsal dinner.

Re: FH gift
I have sparky, the islanders mascot coming to the wedding. I had our season ticket rep work out a deal where he is getting us a signed stick too. FHs birthday is also 2 days after the wedding so i'm going to get him a birthday cake too.
but we werent going to do any kind of gifts if my law suit didnt settle bc the budget would have been totally effed
Sounds like great gift ideas. We talked about it & he doesn't even see the purpose of exchanging gift unless it's the watch he wants which is really expensive. not happening!
I was thinking :
grooms cake for RD & engraved cufflinks & a pair of sock in case he gets cold feet. lol
When does he get these gifts? DAY OF WEDDING?

Re: FH gift
FH and I decided since we are both paying for our weddings, we are not getting eachother gifts and figures our bands are our gifts to eachother :)

That's not that bad. But he has a good watch already. he said he doesn't need another unless it's a gold rolex...

I love this! I am going to do this and instead of getting him a card I am going to write in the cover.
Thanks!

I got a cute wrapper for his cold feet socks on etsy and will probably do a grooms cake for the RD too (but I'm not sure if he'll really appreciate it - he's not a big cake fan, but I think he'll like the theme of the cake)
