FH gift- watch

I want to get FH a watch for a wedding gift/engagement gift. I am just not sure what watches are pretty popular right now. SOmething a little higher class, maybe right above movado and bulova. Any suggestions i would really appreciate.

TIA

Alot of guys are really into Breitling, its a very good watch. Then theres the always popular Rolex, but i would say most guys i know like those two. Many now decide to get Breitlings instead and quite a few of dh's friends who are really into watches have that

eta: it is very pricey though, so around what price range?

Yeah I got DH a Breitling and he LOVED it. I dropped it off at his parents house the night before and asked them to give it to him once he was dressed. He was completely surprised and he even called me before the ceremony to tell me how much he loved it.

Just be prepared to drop a lot of cash for it. It was VERY expensive. People told me I was crazy but seriously, he spent thousands on a ring that I am wearing everyday for the rest of my life, so I spent a lot on a watch that he can enjoy.

But a Tag is also a nice choice. More than a Movado but less than a Breitling and a Rolex.

i got mine a breitling as well....its been sitting in my apartment for months hahaha.....im not sure how much their cheapest watches are - i would guess that depending on the style you can expect to spend at least 2K and upwards of 10K....but like someone else said, thats nothing compared to my e-ring so i didnt mind spending that much money on him - i cant wait to give it to him - he knows he got it, he picked it out

FH has a Breitling loves it...TAG is another popular one might get him one for Christmas. All these brands have big price ranges..you can get a $2000 Breitling or a $50,000 one. same with Rolex, Tag etc.

We are big watch people

I bought FH a Rolex as an engagement gift.

I would suggest for a guy (if you can afford it)
Tag Hauer
Brietling
Rolex

A good website to purchase from is www.authenticwatches.com

I also know someone who discounts right out of her house, very reputable. Prices are a bit lower than the website. She doesn't have a credit card machine. She has been in business over 40 years

FM me if you want info

Movados are pretty big, Omegas are the watch that James Bond wears. And some of the watches at Tiffany's are actually pretty reasonable.

I'm getting FH a Tag Huer (he picked it out himself).

My FH wants a Breitling (sp?) They are very expensive but that is what he wants, so I have to shop around to try and find a reasonable price.

i got my FH a really nice armani watch last christmas - its has one of those black rubber bands and a black face and it was less than $500 - i saw some nice watches there....

i also got my FH a Mont Blanc for his bday - they have nice watches too - that one was closer to 2K....of course i got him that watch for his bday in June and then he proposed in July - so i didn't have any money to get him a Breitling as an engagement gift i didnt think he would propose so soon so i figured id hold him off with the Mont Blanc watch....and of course he knew he was proposing in a few weeks but didnt want to let on to it so he let me buy him the Mont Blanc....but they have nice stuff too....lucky for FH i had 1 year and a half to save again so he is getting a Breitling as a wedding gift hahaha

I would say a Tag or a Brietling. FH is a watch collector and those are the 2 he loves. I plan on getting him a Tag. I wish I could get him a Brietleng but I really can't afford it.
