FH & GM color shoes

FH & GM color shoes

My question is, FH and GM are using gray suits, FH w/ white tie and shirt and GM w/ green. What color of shoes will look better white or black????
I'm not a big fanatic of white shoes but I will go for it if it is what look better and if dosen't look tacky

Please help me w/ the dilema

Black shoes. I personally think the white shoes would look out of place.
