FH has...

The Flu..he woke up this morning to go skiing and felt like he got hit by a truck...we went to the doc...they dont think its bacterial but they gave him antibiotics to take in case...we bought him thera flu and soup...any remedies or tips for how I can ward it off myself?!

I really like lemon and apple tea with honey when I am sick like that...For you change the bed sheet every night b/c there is where you get more germs.. and also airborne is also pretty good so you dont get sick

take airbourne!!!! i'm a teacher and it can do wonders!!!! it tastes nasty but can really do the trick if you take it before being exposed to long!

i totally recommentd both oil of oregano and echinachea...the liquids not pill form...good luck ..btw u can get it from ne vitamin shop ...they always work for me !

Yess i know the answer....fh had the flu.....by Vitamin C. they come just like cough drops and in every flavor. they will keep you clear

aww i'm so sorry to hear about your FH. I hope he feels better soon. My FH has the stomach virus. I feel so bad for him- his whole body hurts too. I hope I don't get it now lol...

boil hot water in a pot over the stove, put a towel over his head, and let the steam hit his face and tell him to take deep breaths.....dont stick it too close otherwise he'll burn his face off

as soon as it begins like to boil start it, and when it gets to much stop, let it cool and repeat! serioulsy it opens of those air passages and gets all that guck out! its kinda gross at first but works like a charm!

That stinks! I hope he feels better soon! Only tip I can think of would be to stay away from him, but I'm sure that's not possible.

bolthouse juices--in the produce aisle--makes something called c-boost, which has everything that airborne has, but it's a yummy and good-for-you mango smoothie. i drink about a bottle a day in 3 installments when i'm trying not to catch something.

i'm a teacher, so my immune system is pretty hearty, but it works like a charm! HTH

I agree, take airborne, vitamin C for both of you. He needs lots of fluids, tea, and rest. Change the sheets and pillow cases, you may want to avoid sleeping in the same bed, disinfect everything. I hope he gets better soon!

thanks...i changed it last week...i slept on the couch last night with a fresh pillow case...took airborne and am washing my hands like crazy!

Having the flu is not cool. is he dizzy at all?

I dont think its contagious but I wouldn't venture near him too much. I know it s u c k s. He should be ok in a few days though.

i flipping have the flu too. i dont think ive ever had it before... i slept at josh's last night and when i got home this morning, i was incredibly nauseous (but i thought it was the bagel i had just eaten) so then like hours after i got nauseous i was still incredibly nauseous and now my body hurts, i have a headache, and a fever of 101.6.

now the nausea is gone, but my body hurts and he fever is still here. I feel okay, but if i move too much, i want to collapse.

ive never had this crap before. it stinks!

TELL BRAD TO GET BETTER! I FEEL HIS PAIN!
