Its really starting to annoy me. Love fmil to death but she is nosy..thats it...just nosy and i can't handle that. I don't want people telling me what to do how to do it when to do it. UGH!
so as you ladies know Im signing my lease tonight and she wants to see the apt and she was already asking why we have to pay 1st months rent and security upfront if we r not moving till october 1st and she asks a million and one questions...
i can't i just cant lol

They got very involved with why we had to put so much upfront for our apartment....I was like, because it is NYC?

OMG! i know !!! and thats whats due when you sign a lease...
I worked in real estate before graduating college and the new construction apartments have separate boilers so you have to pay for heat and hot and hot water...before finding my apt, we had seen a new place like that and she was like i neve heard of that (which is fine) but she was like arguing with fh and I about it ....ugh its just annoying

I know. I am an architect, and MIL doesn't seem to see that I know way more than she does on construction matters
