Getting married on saturday.. LOL...Have to laugh about it, this month has been a killer.
1st my brother 22 yrs old comes down with bell's palsy (temporay paralysis of the right side of his face)
2nd my grandmother passed away last weekend
and now He has poison ivy.
But the drs. say in 3 days it should be gone.

Oh no, I'm so sorry about all you've been going through, particularly the loss of your grandmother. You sound like you're handling things well, though. I hope your dad's poison ivy clears up before your wedding!

we have it too! fh and i. is it on his face? the rest of his body will be covered so im sure it will be ok!
fh and i had it for a week, hes all blistered and disgusting. i went through stages of thinknig it was ll kinds of things - finally went to the dr this morning and he confirmed it.
hope he feels better! does he remember where he got it from? fh's took a week to come out.

Once the doctor prescribes something, it clears up right away- so no worries! FI is ALWAYS getting poison oak and poison ivy from doing yard work. He's gotten one or the other at LEAST 6 times this summer.
It's gotten to the point where I'm going to download posters of pictures/identifying characteristics and post them around the yard with disclaimers 'Don't touch me, GO AWAY'.

At this point i think i am numb to all the sh*t that has been going on. I am really calm though, i think i've handled it all pretty well. I mean things are going to go wrong, i just have to get passed them and focus on just getting married to my FH! thats the most important... i look at it this way, what am i gonna do, cry over everything. lol
